Please see the Considerations before copying a Pathway guide prior to copying a Pathway.
Click on the Details tab.
Click Copy below the text at the bottom of the page.
You will be presented with a popup window where you can rename the copy of the Pathway to distinguish it from the original.
Underneath the Name box, you can choose from 2 options for any Assessments that are linked as part of the Pathway and 2 options for any Pathways contained within the Pathway (the second option will not appear unless there is a Pathway in the Pathway):
This radio button will copy any Assessments as well as the Pathway so you are able to edit the questions, increase the pass mark and set a number of attempts.
If you choose this option, the copy will need to be maintained manually by an Administrator if any amendments are made to the original Assessment (i.e. if questions are Retired in the original Assessment).
|Link to existing assessments||
This radio button will link to any existing Assessments and will not allow you to make any changes to the questions or settings.
No maintenance is required with this option - if the original Assessment is updated, the new Pathway will reflect these changes automatically.
|Copy child pathways||
This option will copy the Pathway(s) contained within the main Pathway you are copying. This means that you will be able to customise the child/sub-Pathway(s) activity and assessment settings in the same way that you can with the parent Pathway.
The copied child Pathways will only appear in the Activities tab of your main Pathway and not in Content Manager.
|Link to existing child pathways||This option keeps a link to the child Pathways so you won't be able to amend any of the activity or assessment settings of those child Pathways.|
Click on Continue to save the changes.
You will be taken to the Common Tasks area for your new Pathway where you will be able to choose different options, such as adding additional Activities.
If you wish to change details, such as the roll-up settings or the order of Activities, please see the following guides:
