You can watch the video or follow the steps below it.

You will taken to a 3 step wizard.
Step 1
Choose the Specific users radio button.
Click on Next.
Step 2
You will now need to search for the Users who will be registered onto the Activity and you can do this by searching by name or Organisation Unit.
Search by name
Type the User's name into the Filter box.
Click the Search button or press the Enter key on your keyboard.
Tick the box next to their name to select them.
Their name will be displayed on the left-hand side.
You can add more users by repeating the above process.
Click on Next at the bottom of the page when all of the Users have been added.
Search by organisation unit
Click the Unit dropdown menu.
Choose the Unit where the Users sit.
Tick the box next to the Users' names to select individuals within that Unit.
Alternatively, tick the Select all on current page at the top of the Users to select everyone in that Unit.
You can add more Users from other Units by repeating the above process.
Click Next when all of the Users have been added.
Step 3
This step allows you to set a Due Date for the Activity (if you wish) by ticking the Due Date box.
This will present you with a new window where you can choose how you would like the Due Date to be calculated:
Specify a date | This is a fixed date that you choose. As you are registering specific users, rather than via a Registration Rule, you may wish to use this option so that you know when everyone is due to complete the Activity. |
Specify a date from user creation date | This option is more relevant for Activities such as inductions as it will set a Due Date based on when the User was created, for example, you could set it for one month following their creation. If you choose this option, a tick box to 'use the employment date instead when available' will appear and if you tick it, it will provide a more accurate Due Date if the employment date has been set. |
Specific a date from last completion | This option allows you to set a date relative to when the User last completed this Activity, for regular compliance training, for example, to ensure someone has completed every 12 months. If the User has not previously completed the Activity, the registration date will be used. |
Specify a date from last due date | This option allows you to set a date relative to the last Due Date that was previously set for the user for this activity, for example, annual training with fixed dates. If a Due Date was not previously set, the registration date will be used. |
Specify a date from when the activity is assigned | This option allows you to set a date relative to when the Activity is assigned to the User. If a User has their progress reset on this Activity as well, it will be this date that will be used. |
Depending on which option you choose, you will either be presented with a dropdown menu where you can specify a relative date, 1 month for example, or a calendar, as shown below.
In addition to setting a Due Date, you can tick the Reset Progress box if you wish.
Ticking the Reset Progress box will set Activity back to 'Incomplete' for any Users you are registering now but who are already registered.
Click on Finish at the bottom of the screen to complete the wizard.
