Find the User you need to Delegate to someone else and click on their Username to go into the administration area (see view Users if you're unsure how to do this).
Click on the Line Manager tab on the left-hand side.
Click on the Add Delegation button.
You will be taken to a two-step wizard.
Search for the delegated Line Manager by typing their name into the Filter box and clicking Search or pressing the Enter key on your keyboard.
Select the radio button next to their name to select them.
Click on the Next button at the bottom of the screen.
Choose the Reporting Scope you want the Delegate to have:
|This user only||This option allows the Delegate to view the absent Line Manager’s training plan through the My Staff page and the absent Line Manager will also appear on the Delegate’s reports|
|Direct Reports||This option allows the Delegate to see and report on the absent Line Manager and the people they directly manage.|
|All Reports||This option allows the Delegate to see and report on the absent Line Manager, the people who report directly to them and in turn the people who report to them, i.e. all tiers of Users.|
Click on the Finish button at the bottom of the screen.
The Delegation will be set, as shown below.
