Navigate to Content Manager from the Menu and click on Create tab.
You now have the option to drag and drop the document, browse for it, or use the Document button to navigate to a file on your computer or link to a web-based document.
Drag and drop the document
Open up a file explorer window and drag the file from it into the LMS drag and drop area while it is in the background, as shown below.
The file will be displayed in the drag and drop area.
Click on View.
Browse for the document
Click on the browse link within the drag and drop area.
Navigate to the document on your computer and click on Open.
The file will be uploaded to the drag and drop area.
Click on View.
Navigate to the document
Click on the Document button.
You can upload any file type which is listed in the supported file extensions:
Click on the Choose file button and navigate to the file on your computer to add it. The maximum upload limit is 330MB. Should you wish to upload a file larger than this, please contact the support team.
Alternatively, click the Link to a web based document radio button to enter the URL of a webpage:
Click on Save.
Updating the Activity via the administration area
No matter which option you chose, once the file has been uploaded, you will be taken to the administration area for the Activity.
Click on the Details tab.
You will now be able to amend the name of the Activity if you need to, along with adding a Description, Code and Objectives. We would recommend that you add a Description so that users know what the activity is before they look at it.
