Play the video below if you would prefer to see how to do this.
Navigate to Organisation and Users via the Menu.
Click the three dots menu next to the Organisation level that your new Unit will sit within - you may need to click the + icon next to the Organisation if it contains further levels.
In this example, we're going to add a new unit within ‘Investments', which is part of the 'Bank of Unicorn Limited' Organisation.
Click + Unit.
You will be presented with a New Organisation Unit popup.
Complete the details as follows:
Name | Enter the new Unit's name. For example, 'Investments Admin'. We would recommend that if you have sub-Units of Organisation Units that with the same name, for example an investments department in mortgages and corporate, you should give them slightly different names in order to differentiate them in Reports. For example, Mortgage Investments and Corporate Investments. |
Code | The Code has to be unique and we recommend that you follow your company's naming convention. |
Type |
Choose whether the Unit is a Division or Department (useful for reporting):
|
Identifier | This is an optional field if you want to include a further way of identifying the Unit for Reporting. |
Click Save within the popup window to create the new Unit.
