Edit the background/page options
Click on the pencil icon next to the page while editing an eCreator page.
Change the background image/colour
Click on the Background Image/Colour button.
To amend the background to another background within the theme, simply click onto its picture within the menu that appears.
Alternatively, upload your own image by clicking onto the Upload Image link.
You will be able to navigate to the file on your computer and the image will be automatically uploaded (it can take a few seconds for the screen to refresh if the file is large).
To change the image to a solid background colour, click on the dropdown menu.
Choose Colour from the list.
You will now be able to set the colour for your background using the coloured squares (your theme will determine which colours are available).
Please note that setting the colour to No Fill (the option with the red line through) will remove the background image and/or colour from the page background.
Mark the course as complete when this page is reached
Click on the Mark page as complete on visit button to mark this page as the end of the course.
This option is helpful if you choose to use branching within your course (see below).
Next button destination
By default, when you create your course, the next page button will show the user the next page in your course in sequence. Branching gives you the flexibility to design courses that break the sequence, allowing learners to go in different directions. For example, users could explore different case studies, depending on which option they click in a course.
This section shows you how set the page that appears after a user clicks on the Next button within the page, although you can also set an image/media item or text box/side panel to move the user to another page (see Edit items on an eCreator page for more information).
Click on the Next button destination button.
Click on the dropdown menu.
Choose the page you'd like to go to from the list of pages that appears.
Don't forget to click the Save button near the top of the screen after making changes to your page or these will be lost when you navigate away from the page editor screen you're currently in.
