The Unicorn LMS can support a number of different languages. This enables a user to view the LMS in their native or a preferred language.
We understand that many of our customers will have a global audience and will therefore develop content in those languages to support their users.
A Language Pathway will register a user on to an activity which matches their default language, if one exists. If there is not an activity for their default language, as set up in the user's profile, they will be registered on to the English version. If no English version exists, they will be registered on to the first activity as listed in the Language Pathway.
See the guide Create a Language Pathway for further guidance on how to do this.
If a User changes their preferred language after being registered on the Pathway, they will be automatically cancelled from the language version they were originally registered on to and registered on to the activity for the new language.
Warning: Any previous progress on the original activity will be lost and not carried across to the new activity.
