This guide assumes you have already created a New Template and have selected Fixed Workflow from the selection window. Please see the Create a Form Template guide if you need assistance with this.
Before proceeding with the design of the form you should select the correct workflow the form should follow between User and Manager.
Navigate to the Workflow tab of the Form Template Editor.
The predefined workflow options when using the Fixed Workflow are as follows:
|Manager > Complete||
The User is not included in this workflow.
|Manager > User > Manager > Complete||
|User > Manager > User (review) > Manager > Complete||
|User > Manager > Complete||
|User > Complete||
The manager is not included in this workflow.
When selecting a Workflow that involves both the User and Manager, the ability to set different Email Options becomes available.
By default, emails will be sent at each stage of a Workflow including when the form has been signed-off and completed. However, you can untick the relevant boxes to prevent some or all of the emails from being sent.
Here is an example of the options that might be available:
If you do make any changes, remember to click on the Save button at the top of the screen.
Now you have selected the workflow for the Form Template, click on Save. You can then can proceed to the Layout tab to design the form.
