Push-learning enables a User to periodically send pages of an eCreator course to their email. This is a useful way of breaking down a long course to more manageable chunks of learning each day over a period of time, in order to complete it before the due date.
Push-learning must be enabled on the eCreator course by the Administrator or Content Creator. The eCreator course settings guide will walk though how to do this.
A User can set up an eCreator course to be sent by email and specify the schedule. To do this navigate to My Activities and locate the course.
Click on the Send by email link under the course title.
Select the Start Date you want to start receiving the emails, the Start page for the page you want to receive first and whether you only want to receive emails on weekdays or everyday from the Schedule.
The email address the pages will be sent to is displayed under the Email heading. This is the email address your account is registered to.
Note: You can change your registered email address in your profile or by contacting your Administrator.
To send a page immediately, click on the Send Page Now link.
Click on Save.
The email icon beneath the activity title will change to green and the link will change to say Being sent by email.
To edit the schedule or stop sending the emails, click on the Being sent by email link.
Clicking on the Pause button will stop sending the emails.
