You can link Resource Pages to a Pathway so that Users can access the Pages whilst they are completing the Pathway. For example, you may want to create a Resource Page for additional reading material or case studies, which Users could then have to hand whilst completing eLearning or an Assessment within the Pathway.
Note: Resources cannot be added to Pathways which are using a theme.
For more information about how to create and manage Resource Pages within your LMS, please see this guide.
Navigate to Content Manager via the Menu.
Search for the Pathway you would like to add Resources to. Click on the title to be taken to its administration area.
Click on the Resources tab.
Click the Add Resource button.
A popup will open in which you can select the Resource Pages you want to link to the Pathway. First, select the Space the Pages are located in from the Select Space dropdown menu (see this guide for further information on the difference between Pages and Spaces).
The Pages within the Space will be listed. Tick the box next to each Page you want to add as a Resource. Tick On Completion if you would only like the Page to be available to registered Users after they have completed the Pathway.
You can also specify a date from which the Resources will be made available to registered Users. This could be a useful way to distribute follow-up learning material. Select a date from the calendar or leave as today's date if you want the Resources to be made available immediately.
When you have selected the relevant Pages, click Add Resource.
The Resources have now been added to the Pathway. Tick the box next to a Resource and click Remove to delete it.
How do Users access the Resources?
When a User is registered to the Pathway and launches it, they will be able to access any of the Resources which are set to be available prior to completion from the Resources toolbox on the right-hand side.
