Being able to animate objects in your eCreator course can help to increase learner engagement.
By default, the animation on your objects will be set to None, meaning it will be already visible when the page loads. However, it is possible to have objects appearing on to your slide in the following ways:
- Fade
- Slide From Left
- Slide From Right
- Slide From Top
- Slide From Bottom
The direction specified is the area of the page that the object will slide from. For example, slide left will have the object sliding from the left.
It is possible to animate entire panels or, if using a text panel, individual text boxes or objects within the panel.
To add animation, click on the item you wish to animate.
Click on the icon to the right of the item then select the Animate
icon from the menu.
Now choose from which direction you wish the item to slide in from.
You can also set the Transition Speed of your animation. The speed ranges from 0.1 seconds to 5 seconds. This will set the speed that your item animates on screen.
To set the Transition Speed, type the speed required in seconds into the Transition Speed box:
You can also use the arrows to adjust the time.
Now Save your page and click on Preview to see how the animation looks.
