Super Administrators can access the Certification Regime wizard in Site Settings. Navigate to Site Settings and click on Available Features if this is the first time you have accessed the wizard. Once enabled a card will display in Manage Features enabling you to access the Certification Regime Wizard summary screen.
Click on the Certification Regime card.
You are presented with an overview of the wizard. This explains how many steps you will work through and what is set up upon completing the wizard. Once you have read the overview click Get Started.
Step 1 requires you to define your Form name and code. Fit and Proper Test is the default Form name but you can replace it with an alternative name. F&P is the default Form code but this can also be changed. The Form name you decide on is dynamic and will appear throughout the rest of the wizard. Click Next to continue.
In Step 2, name and choose your Mandatory Training category. Select Choose an existing category to use a category that you have already created in Site Settings. Select the category you would like to use from the dropdown options.
Or, create a new Mandatory Training category as part of the wizard. Your Form name provided in the previous step is used as the default category name, but this can be changed.
Click Next to continue.
In Step 3 decide how you would like CPD data entered in to your Fit and Proper Test. You can choose to automatically pull CPD from the LMS, or enter CPD manually into your Form. Take a look at our guide Monitor CPD for more guidance on the two options.
Select the appropriate radio button to indicate your preference and then click Next to continue.
In Step 4 you will set up your Person Category Group to be used for the Certified Functions. If you already have an appropriate Person Category Group set up, you can choose this from the dropdown options.
Alternatively, choose the option to create a new group. The wizard will create the Certified Functions group and all Certified Function categories that sit in the group, for example, CASS Oversight and Material Risk Takers.
The default group name will be Certified Functions, but you can change this if you would like. Once you have made your selection, click Create Form.
You have now completed all 4 steps in the wizard. A summary screen confirms what the wizard has set up based on your choices.
Next, you can choose to:
