The Actions toolbox can be found in a User's profile on the LMS, and allows Administrators to carry out the following tasks:
- Update a User's login details
- Change a User's password
- Reset a User's password
- Unlock a User's account
- 'Login as' a User (Super Administrators only)
Each option is explained below.

Update Login Details
If you don't use single sign-on (SSO), you can change the User's Username - this is what they will use to log in to the LMS.
You can manually set or change the User's password. If a User has forgotten their password, we recommend using Reset Password shown next.
Using this feature will send a system generated email to the User with instructions on how to reset their password. This is a more secure way for the User to change their password, keeping it confidential.
This option will only be available if you are logged in as a Super Administrator (and won't be available at all if you are a Workspace customer).
Clicking Login As will log you in as the User and take you to the home page of the LMS. You will then be able to troubleshoot any issue the User is having by seeing what they see. Note that anything you do on the User's profile whilst logged in as them will count, so for example make sure you don't complete an Activity they are registered to as this will then move to Completed.
When you are ready to return to your own account, click Log out.
If you don't use SSO, a User will become locked out of their account if they incorrectly enter their password more than 5 times.
Click unlock account - you will be able to see if the User is locked out in the popup window.
If they are locked out, click Unlock to unlock their account.
Note: you will need to unlock a User's account before resetting their password. If you reset their password without unlocking it, they will still not be able to access their account.
